Our history

Founded as a Magna International subsidiary, Tesma built a strong reputation for high-precision powertrain manufacturing throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. On February 4, 2004, Magna International completed the acquisition of Tesma, consolidating its subsidiary units to enhance operational efficiency and bring Tesma fully inside the Magna family of companies.
